  1. CMTC has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 90024-GSO to commence on 10-JAN-2022 until 09-JAN-2025. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

    1. Rank: Capt/Capt
      Maj/LCdr willing to relinquish and Lt/SLt eligible for promotion to Capt/Lt(N) may apply, but will only be considered should no candidate at the Capt/Lt(N) rank apply and be found suitable. Lt/SLt not eligible for promotion and MWOs may be considered for under-ranking. CWO are not eligible to apply.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:

      d. Knowledge of Military Writing & forms;

      e. Knowledge of Financial Admin Act;

      g. General understanding of DAOD's, CFAO's & QR&O's; and

      h. Qualified AOC, Res MCSC or Equivalant preferred but not essential
  4. Basic description of duties: The Collective Training (CT) Plans Officer is responsible to assist the Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE (MR) Plans Tm Ldr for the efficient planning of support to the Army CT. Assist the EX MR Plans Tm Ldr with the coordination of the existing MR model to support the Army Operations Plan.

    1. The Plans O 2-2 is responsible for:
    a. BPT assume the duties and responsibilities of the Team Plans Leader in his/her absence;

    b. Assisting in the design, development and delivery of support to be provided by CMTC;

    c. Recommend amendments or modifications to exercises based on current CT directives and policies;

    d. Assisting in the conducting of Initial, Main, and final Planning Conferences for EX MR and CT Ex;

    e. Assist in the management of the CT budget;

    f. Assisting in the implementation of convening orders and agendas;

    g. Assist the EX MR Planning team with Ex development and implementation as directed;

    h. Set-up and display slide presentation;

    i. Perform administrative duties such as record of decisions, minutes and deliver presentations when required;

    j. Prepare and collate Request For Information (RFIs) directed to the EX MR Planning team;

    k. Assisting in the conduct of Working Groups and Writing Boards to include Exercise Design Writing Groups (EDWG);

    l. Assisting in exercise administrative execution;

    m. Produce exercise material as required;

    n. Participate in all CMTC exercises and activities as required;

    o. BPT perform the duties of Base Duty Officer;

    p. Maintain personal conduct and deportment IAW approved policies and directives;

    q. Maintain the required fitness standard; and

    r. Other related duties as assigned.
