  1. 5 CDSB Gagetown has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 90024-GSO to commence on 06-JAN-2022 until 05-JAN-2025. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Capt/Capt
      IAW Ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employments.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • A. Presiding Officer Training;
      B. Harrassment Advisor Training;
      C. Designated Assistant Training;
      D. AOC (or equivalent) preferred;
      E. Experience as a Unit Adjutant/Operations Officer or Coy/Sqn 2IC or experience as Capt CSS Officer with HR background/experience;
      F. In Depth experience with MS Office Suite and MS Teams (O365);
      F. Detailed knowledge of QR&O, CFAO and DAOD; and
      G. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Basic description of duties: A. Advise CO on all matters concerning welfare, morale and discipline of officers and non-commisioned mbrs within Pers Sp Svcs;
    B. Manage the workflow and draft correspondence for the CO's signature;
    C. Act as the Unit Return to Duty (RTD) Coordinator for military members;
    D. Prepare and process administrative reports and returns;
    E. Assess, research and propose solutions to unit administrative files, i.e. harassment, grievances and investigations; and
    E. Responsible for the Unit's PER Monitoring (PERMON) program.
