  1. 36 Svc Bn Det Sydney has a Class B Temporary for a Lt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 90029-CBT SVC SP to commence on 08-NOV-2021 until 17-APR-2022. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Lt/Capt
      IAW Ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.

        • Have completed or be able to complete the Expenditure Management (sections 32 and 34 of the FAA), Contract Certification and the Green Procurement courses.

  4. Basic description of duties: A. Responsible to coordinate all unit ops & trg;
    B. Advise the CO on the conduct of all trg, tasking and exercises within the unit;
    C. Prepare and file all required unit operations and training reports and returns;
    D. Maintain records on personnel deployed on ops and tasking;
    E. Ensure a standardized high level of training is maintained;
    F. Monitor daily incoming mail;
    G. Function as the certification authority for Class A pay sheets in the unit;
    H. Administer policies as they pertain to leave and attendance within the unit;
    I. Staff promotions, CFR requests, extensions to CRAs and OTs to the Adjt; and
    J. Manage unit military Res Pay.
