  1. C Army has a Class B Temporary for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00003-01-NCM, or 90000-ATR to commence on 22-OCT-2021 until 21-OCT-2023. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: MCpl/MCpl
      The following ranks may apply but will only be considered should no MCpl apply and found suitable. Sgt willing to relinquish rank and Cpl eligible for promotion to MCpl. Cpl not eligible for promotion may be considered for under-ranking
    2. MOS ID: 00003-01-NCM, or 90000-ATR
      All MOSIDs will be considered.
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT
    7. Required experience and quals:
      • Course Remarks:
        • UPAR course not required but would be considered an asset.
      • Competency Remarks:
        • a. Strong verbal and written communication skills, English essential, but preferably in both official languages;
          b. Excellent interpersonal skills;
          c. Self-starter who can work under pressure;
          d. Motivated to work without supervision according to an assigned schedule;
          e. Strong knowledge of MS Office software suite (excel, word, ppt);
          f. Strong research, organizational and planning skills essential;
          g. Ability to carry out assigned tasks with a min of supervision; and
          h. Ability to work individually
    8. Position requirements for regular force annuitants permit IAW CMP instruction 20/04: Yes - Option 2 ( (# 20/04))
  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • a. Experience providing advice to Officers and senior civilian public servants;
      b. Experience working in a HQ environment; and
      c. Knowledge of and experience with Social Media would be considered an asset, especially if in a Government of Canada
  4. Basic description of duties: a. Help plan and coordinate various social media and web communications campaigns;
    b. Update and publish content to social media (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flikr and Instagram);
    c. Update and publish web pages using WIM (TeamSite CMS);
    d. Research and document relevant social media best practices, as required; and
    e. Prepare other communications products, as required.
    f. Prepare analytic data using tools appropriate for social media platforms and produce various follow-on reports;
    g. Assist with the management of web analytic data using WebTrends and produce various reports, as required; and
    h. Assist in preparing various social media and web strategy documents, as required.
    i. Ability to research and collate information from a variety of sources;
    j. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate effectively in writing; and
    k. Experience providing advice to Officers and senior civilian public servants.
