  1. 41 CER Det Calgary has a Class B Permanent for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00375-01-HRA to commence on 10-DEC-2021 until 09-DEC-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: MCpl/MCpl
      Under/Over ranking shall only be used in exceptional circumstances, where no established rank qualified candidate is found suitable by a Board Report and approved by Div HQ. Higher rank will relinquish rank for the duration of the emp pd.
    2. MOS ID: 00375-01-HRA
      Any trade may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available.
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

    • The following skills, experience and/or knowledge are considered as assets for this position:
      a. Revised Pay System for the Reserves (RPSR);
      b. Human Resource Management System (HRMS) / Guardian;
      c. Good written and oral communication;
      d. Microsoft Office;
      e. Previous full-time employment in a Reserve orderly room;
      f. Ability to work with minimal supervision;
      g. Understanding of CAF regulations, policies and procedures;
      h. Expenditure Management Course, Contracting Direct With Trade and Green Procurement.
  4. Basic description of duties: a. Personnel administration at unit level including but not limited to:
    1) promotions;
    2) releases;
    3) transfers/posts;
    4) pay functions;
    5) personnel data entry;
    6) claims;
    7) personnel readiness verification.
    b. Supervise orderly room staff; and
    c. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
