  1. CADTC HQ DET GAGETOWN (CASC) has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 90001-CBT ARMS - NCM to commence on 29-NOV-2021 until 28-NOV-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Regular Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • 1. Relevant experience in QM management;

      2. Experience of distribution account management;

      3. Proven ability to operate/work with a multidisciplinary team (military, contractor, civilian);

      4. Work experience in DND procurement procedures, specifically computer equipment;

      5. Recent and relevant experience within a Reserve unit or equivalent;

      6. Proven leadership skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision;

      7. Must be qualified driver wheel or have a valid civilian license and/or DND 404;

      8. Be qualified or prepared to qualify as per sections 32 and 34 of the FAA;

      9. Completed or be prepared to complete course on Contracting Direct With Trade;

      10. Completed or be prepared to complete course on Green Procurement;

      11. Must expect to work long hours occasionally, to participate in field exercises and to work occasionally on weekends; and

      12. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Basic description of duties: GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The Sim Centre/Tactics School QMS is responsible to coordinate the daily activities of the unit QM and provide support to students and staff of Sim Centre/Tactics School as required.

    DUTIES AND TASKS
    1. Provide QM support to the Simulation Centre/Tactics School;

    2. Manage distribution accounts (SLOC);

    3. Ensure the coordination of materiel between using units and contractors during internal and deployed exercises;

    4. Process QM correspondence and admin procedures to support the Sim Centre/Tactics School;

    5. Coordinate procurement, maintenance and delivery of materiel with civilian provider and contractors;

    6. Supervise and ensure QM general operations; and

    7. All other functions of the rank as per the needs of the Cmdt.
