  1. 21 EW Regt has a Class B Permanent for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00375-01-HRA to commence on 02-OCT-2021 until 01-OCT-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: MCpl/MCpl
      IAW Ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.
    2. MOS ID: 00375-01-HRA
      HRA preferred, if no suitable HRA applies other trades may be considered.
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT
    7. Required experience and quals: N/A

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • A. The following qualifications will be considered an asset:
      1. Revised Pay System for the Reserves (RPSR);
      2. Guardian;
      3. Monitor Mass;
      B. The following experiences and skills will be considered an asset:
      1. Robust knowledge of PRes administrative regulations, policies and procedures;
      2. Experience using Guardian, RPSR, Monitor Mass and Microsoft Suite;
      3. Experience and strong knowledge of PRes release regulations and procedures;
      4. Familiarity with Class C nominations, messages, and deployment administration;
      5. Managing subordinates using CFPAS;
      6. Ability to work with minimal supervision; and
      7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Basic description of duties: A. Supervise and mentor orderly room PRes cell personnel;
    B. Provide administrative support to PRes pers including during evening and weekend training;
    C. Plan and conduct training for PRes HRA including during evening and weekend training;
    D. Be prepared to deploy on summer taskings in support of PRes training;
    E. Manage Reg F and PRes subordinates using CFPAS;
    F. Provide advice regarding PRes pay, entitlements, benefits and administrative policy;
    G. Process PRes pay, allowances, claims, and other entitlements and benefits;
    H. Process PRes enrolments, promotions, medals and awards, postings and releases;
    I. Process Reserve Employment Opportunities (REOs) and related hiring documentation;
    J. Process deployment administration for pers attending exercises, courses and operations;
    K. Maintain personnel records, NES, ED&T and manning reports in Guardian and RPSR;
    L. Complete necessary DLN courses in order to obtain and maintain DOA;
    M. Be proficient in RPSR, Guardian, Monitor Mass and MS Office Suite; and
    N. Other duties as assigned by ROR Supervisor.
