  1. ONT Regt has a Class B Temporary for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00005-10-CRMN - ARMD, or 00003-01-NCM, or 90001-CBT ARMS - NCM to commence on 14-NOV-2021 until 30-SEP-2022. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: MCpl/MCpl
      Cpl and Sgt may apply but will only be retained in the position if no MCpl through the selection process are deemed suitable for the position
    2. MOS ID: 00005-10-CRMN - ARMD, or 00003-01-NCM, or 90001-CBT ARMS - NCM
      Other trades will be considered if no suitable CRMN-ARMD applies.
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT
    7. Required experience and quals:
      • Courses:
        • 1. DRMIS (Army) Maint Coord [301103]
      • Competency Remarks:
        • Must have Driver Instructor, Driver Examiner and Dangerous Goods Driver (Fleet Management System Specialities J, K and C) or the ability to obtain these qualifications. Must have working knowledge of the Fleet Management System (FMS).
    8. Position requirements for regular force annuitants permit IAW CMP instruction 20/04: Yes - Option 2 ( (# 20/04))

  4. Basic description of duties: A. Reconcile fuel receipts and ensure they are submitted to FSA Sgt monthly.

    B. Management of the drivers, mentorship and evaluation;

    i. ensure that the drivers have their valid DND404 in their possession, and have the required qualifications to complete the tasks;

    ii. Complete follow-ups of initial certifications and safe drivers courses, renewals, and TMD; and

    iii. Investigate accidents involving military vehicles.

    C. Communicate with outside agencies:

    i. follow-up on files about inspections, repairs of fleet vehicles, and send them to the maintenance section at Dennison;

    ii. follow-up with Road Safety for all civilian license suspensions;

    iii. follow-up with Road Safety about all accident reports;

    iv. follow-up accident reports and 416A (corrective measures);

    v. maintain up to date files on the vehicles.

    D. Support sub-unit Ops with planning activities and exercises:

    i. Book transportation such as busses and coaches;

    ii. ensure unit fleet vehicles are deployable and ready for exercises and activities.
