  1. 36 CBG HQ has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 01-NOV-2021 until 31-OCT-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Sgt/Sgt
      IAW Ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.
    2. MOS ID: 90000-ATR
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Top Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • A. Applicants with a lower security clearance may be considered. However, once selected, applicants must attain the appropriate security clearance;
      B. Must have strong IT background, degree or diploma preferred;
      C. Previous emp with an IT/IS help desk preferred;
      D. Extensive experience installing, configuring and maintaining desktops/laptops using/Win 10 OS;
      E. Experience configuring network devices such as switches and WAN backups;
      F. Experience configuring windows server;
      G. Experience in imaging computers;
      H. PKI local registration authority (IRA) training and experience an asset;
      I. Experience using Microsoft active directory and exchange;
      J. Experience managing a SLOC;
      K. Previous emp in a formation HQ an asset; and
      L. Familiarity with SMC Halifax and SMC Gagetown IT helpdesk policies and using EITSM.
  4. Basic description of duties: A. Train/manage IS sp Pers;
    B. Manage and delegate work orders through assyst ticketing system;
    C. Work closely with active directory and GPO in a Win10 and server 2008 environment;
    D. Provide support to 36 CBG units for IT recap through their respective SMCs;
    E. Manage CIS projects including RFC creations and procurement;
    F. Responsible to assist in hardware/software installations;
    G. Image computers and maintain image server;
    H. Act as a witnessing officer for COMSEC account; and
    I. Provide IS support to Bde IT users.
