  1. 31 CBG HQ has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 00003-01-NCM, or 90000-ATR to commence on 15-NOV-2021 until 14-NOV-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Sgt/Sgt
      One rank higher and one rank lower may apply. Other ranks will only be interviewed if there are no suitable rank applicants. One rank higher will relinquish their rank for the duration of the period of service.
    2. MOS ID: 00003-01-NCM, or 90000-ATR
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • Must have DND 404's
  4. Basic description of duties: - Member to act as a Trg NCO and Swing Instructor for the Battle school for C Coy (Grand River) and B Coy (Hamilton) AOR
    - Assist BSL Ops with garrison coordination of vehs, and equipment for BSL Crses within their respective AOR
    - Lower level liaison between other Training NCO's across the Brigade for planning of all course related functions
    -Assist the BSL RA and Crse CQ's with kit transport for courses in conjunction with the Driver/Storesman (east or West).
    - Physical organization (Clean up of the respective garrisons, organization of the respective garrisons QM, etc).
    - Work with other Training NCO's and unit RQ's to allocate kit, transport kit, and return kit for courses.
    - Work with the RQ to create FSR's and transport plans for BSL courses.
    - Help facilitate and transport vehicles to different locations across the brigade in preparation for courses.
    - Work with ops to facilitate proper amounts of transport provided for courses (buses between garrison locations, vehicles, etc).
    - Transportation of ammo between locations in preparation of course ranges.
    - Manage missed training. Conduct Make up training during mon-fri for candidates.
    - Prep all course material for the courses under C Coy Liaise directly with Course O's and 2ic's to smooth the transition between weekends (missed training, adreps, transport plans, etc).
    - Other duties as assigned by the BSL Ops cell and RQ
