          Army Tech Staff Officer and Trials and Evaluations Officer qualifications preferred.

  4. Basic description of duties: - Canadian Army Modernization Strategy (CAMS) reporting and implementation coordination for DLR.
    - Coord Modernization of DLR management processes.
    - Represent DLR at Working Groups looking at future Army initiatives such as Force 2025, Force 2030.
    - Work with the DLR and broader DND team on improving the Project Approval Process (PAP), Project Approval Directive (PAD) and developing more agile procurement processes.

Remarks: DLR's Mission Statement: To provide operational direction for the acquisition and management of select equipment that contributes to the generation and sustainment of a combat effective multi-purpose Army The DLR Modernization Coord will work in the DLR Coord cell. The Coord Cell's role is to support projects in DLR as they move through the Project Approval Process (PAP) and to synchronize information across 80+ projects to provide correct, consistent information up and out of DLR. The Coord cell also provides other 'HQ' type administrative functions for the directorate.
