  1. 5 CRPG has a Class B Permanent for a Lt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 90024-GSO to commence on 01-JUN-2021 until 31-MAY-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • A. Demonstrated experience building and leading teams;
      B. Supervisory experience managing military personnel;
      C. Demonstrated problem solving skills, initiative and the ability to remain effective under highly demanding circumstances;
      D. Demonstrated ability to work well with others in accomplishing organizational goals;
      E. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
      F. Experience providing inputs to the business planning process and budget management;
      G. Extensive knowledge of and experience applying federal government and DND policies such as TB policies, QR&Os, DAODs, CFAOs, CATOs and various directives and instructions;
      H. Experience with DRMIS. The following roles are required: UU04, UU05, UU06, UU19, UU38, UU39, UU48, UU49, UU50, UU53 and UU54; and
      I. Experience with Financial Planning and Forecasting.
  4. Basic description of duties: A. Provide Financial Management Services and guidance to the CO, DCO and 5 CRPG personnel to ensure compliance with TB and CAF financial policies;
    B. Provide guidance on requirements of 5 CRPG financial activities, including planning, determining the nature of funds and applicable coding, monitoring, maintaining an audit trail and reporting on budgets;
    C. Provide guidance and coordinate file preparation for local and higher level review and/or approval;
    D. Ensure the completion of all financial reports and processes required, including the provision of monthly analysis and tracking of the 5 CRPG budget;
    E. Ensure all Delegations of Authority (DOA) are initiated, tracked and maintained as required, including the verification of mandatory training requirements;
    F. Provide adequate oversight of financial activities and be prepared from time to time to conduct transactions during staff shortages;
    G. Perform any other duty as directed by the CO/DCO.
