  1. C Army has a Class A for a Maj/Maj MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 01-APR-2021 until 31-MAR-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Maj/Maj
      LCols who are willing to relinquish their rank and Capts eligible for promotion can apply, but will only be considered if no qualified Maj is available.
    2. MOS ID: 90000-ATR
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Reliability Status
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT
    7. Required experience and quals:
      • Competency Remarks:
        • 1. Knowledge of CA personnel force generation activities
          2. Knowledge of C Army structure and staff procedures
          3. Experience in drafting correspondence for review and approval by senior staff
          4. Experience in working as a staff officer in an HR and/or operational environment
          5. Knowledge of and experience with Diversity & Employment Equity, as well as Indigenous matters
          6. Proficiency with MS Office suite software
          7. Working knowledge of ACIMS

      2. Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English

  4. Basic description of duties: 1. Provide technical guidance as the CA SME on Diversity, EE, and Indigenous matters
    2. Provide guidance on related policies and programmes for the CA
    3. Draft & staff plans and orders
    4. Draft and staff annual reports
    5. Provide advice and assist L2 with Diversity and EE matters
    6. Represent the CA G1 at meetings, conferences and working groups
    7. Organize annual Indigneous Awareness Week event on behalf of Comd CA as Defence Team Indigenous champion
    8. Monitor status of Indigenous Summer Programs
