  1. 3 Cdn Div TC has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 17-MAY-2021 until 16-MAY-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Sgt/Sgt
      Under/Over ranking shall only be used in exceptional circumstances, where no established rank qualified candidate is found suitable by a Board Report and approved by Div HQ. Higher rank will relinquish rank for the duration of the emp pd.
    2. MOS ID: 90000-ATR
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret

  4. Basic description of duties: A. Supervise and coordinate all activities of the detachment;
    B. Provide guidance and assistance to ARSD staff on matters of IT and education;
    C. Control and account for all expenditures and resources allocated to the detachment;
    D. Report monthly on significant ARSD activities to the ACSO;
    E. On behalf of the ACSO, monitor individual training courses and activities in the Bde;
    F. Maintain close liaison with brigade headquarters G3 staff with regard to individual training and education and provide advice and assistance when required;
    G. Assist brigade/units with the planning and preparation of courses;
    H. Conduct Instructor Standardization Training (IST) for all unit/brigade instructional staff prior to the start of all courses;
    I. Plan and organize detachment activities so as to provide standards functions for all courses conducted within brigade/units;
    J. Must be familiar with a PC and Associated Microsoft programs.Issue training instructions;
    K. Mentor subordinate instructors
    L. Fulfill training standards directives
    M. Enforce and maintain safety and training standards
    N. Ensure calibre of training meets standards as detailed in course Qualification Standards and Training Plans
    O. Ensure course packages are up to date
    P. Visit courses as assigned and report problems to course staff and higher
    Q. Provide assistance to course staff
    R. Produce visit evaluation reports
    S. Vet course timetables and report results to submitters in a timely manner
