  1. CA Int Regt Det Ottawa (7 Int) has a Class B Permanent for a Pte/Cpl MOS ID/Occupation 00099-03-INT OP - LAND to commence on 04-APR-2021 until 03-APR-2024. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

    1. Rank: Pte/Cpl
      IAW Ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • A. Driver's license (DND 404) required. MSVS, Mil COTS and Dvr Wheel crses are assets;
      B. Willing and able to deploy domestically on short notice; and
      C. Willing and able to deploy internationally.
  4. Basic description of duties: A. P Res High Readiness Intelligence Support Team(HR IST) members will maintain a 72 hours notice to move status to augment the deployment of CA Int Regt personnel in support of operations within Canada. The HR IST is primarily a domestic, not expeditionary, force capability; however, in support of expeditionary operations, 7 Int Coy may also be responsible to force generate individuals to another deployed intelligence capability or grouping. Hence, CA Int Regt HR IST members shall maintain full Personnel Readiness Verification (PRV) status in anticipation of future expeditionary or domestic deployment as directed by CO CA Int Regt;
    B. Maintain familiarity with the P Res intelligence architecture for domestic operations;
    C. Prepare various P Res intelligence products as directed;
    D. Maintain a high degree of situational awareness nationally regarding P Res domestic operations;
    E. Conduct P Res briefs as required;
    F. Expect to deploy nationally in support of P Res domestic operations/exercises;
    G. Be prepared to support P Res summer individual training locally or abroad; and
    H. Maintain competence in the use of P Res intelligence support systems/software.
