  1. 103 SAR Sqn has a Class A for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 90015-AIR GEN to commence on 06-JUL-2020 until 28-JUL-2025. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • Valid DND 404 license for all vehicles used in SAR section.
  4. Basic description of duties: This Class A reserve position is responsible for the logistical and maintenance support of all equipment required to meet the SAR tech section operational and training commitments.
    Primary duties include the following:
    A.) SLOC representative of supply account A2LP;
    B.) Monitor SAR tech supply budget;
    C.) Responsible for demanding, returning and exchanging equipment on the section account;
    D.) Ensure the upkeep of armament supplies and records;
    E.) Ensure the upkeep of POL supplies;
    F.) Ensure SAR tech supply maintains a minimum amount of replacement equipment to maintain operartional commitments.
    G.) Ensure all N/S equipment is repaired ASAP;
    H.) Ensure all lifesaving equipment is maintained, available and stored onboard boats at all times;
    I.) Maintain all boats, motors and related equipment to an operartional standard;
    J.) Ensure that all operationla and training pumps are maintained;
    K.) Ensure that all section vehicles are serviceable and coordinate maintenance with WEME;
    L.) Ensure that section tool boards are kept complete, secure and serviceable.

    Other duties as per Terms of Accountability (TOA) for this position. TOA is available upon request.
