  1. CFB Winnipeg has a Class A for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 90025-AIR OPS to commence on 27-JAN-2020 until 27-JAN-2045. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Cadet Org and Trg Service, Canadian Rangers.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • Desired qualifications and experience:
      1) Human Factors training / experience;
      2) Operational experience, preferably crew-oriented;
      3) Excellent communication skills;
      4) ADNP qualification to be able to instruct on ICP Course;
      5) Qualification (current or held a valid ticket within past 12 months) on an aircraft utilized at 3 CFFTS Southport; and
      6) Proficient with Windows and MS Office software.
  4. Basic description of duties: DHPE HPMA Instructors provide training to all trades within the RCAF regarding the creation of Human Factors case studies and the facilitation of those case studies to fellow members of the RCAF. Instructors are responsible for working individually with HPMA Coordinator course members to ensure the case studies are created in accordance with the approved format, and that the questions and talking points relating to the case study are relevant and easily facilitated. Instructors will also serve as the subject matter experts for Human Performance in Military Aviation and Fatigue Risk Management discussions and will work regularly with Flight Safety personnel to ensure training material is robust. In addition to serving as an HPMA Instructor, will be required to contribute to the other courses managed by DHPE. To effectively contribute to DHPE, the member will be expected to commit a minimum of four days per month; if necessary, this can be adjusted with pre-coordination through the DHPE Chair.

    DHPE HPMA Instructors are accountable to the HPMA Section Commander / Course Director and the DHPE Chair.
