  1. CAAWC has a Class B Temporary for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00170-05-TFC TECH, or 90000-ATR to commence on 28-OCT-2019 until 20-DEC-2020. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: MCpl/MCpl
      Sgt willing to relinquish and Cpl qualified for promotion to MCpl may apply, but will only be considered should no candidate at the MCpl rank apply and be found suitable.
    2. MOS ID: 00170-05-TFC TECH, or 90000-ATR
      Tfc Tech will be given priority, but other MOSIDs may be considered if no suitable Tfc Tech applicant applies.
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • *Applicants who do not meet the language requirements of the position may be considered. However, priority will be given to those applicants who meet the language requirements of the position.
  4. Basic description of duties: 1. General. The 6 Pl Instr shall be responsible to 6 Pl WO and is required for course instruction.

    2. Responsibilities:

    a. Instruct on Aerial Delivery crses;
    b. Instruct on Drop Zone Landing Zone (DZLZ) crses;
    c. Instruct on Helicopter Underslung Ops (HUSO) Crses;
    d. Attend Instructor Standardization Training (IST) prior to crses:
    e. Be initially qualified at least one of the above listed crse and achieve qualification standard (when aval) of all above listed crses;
    f. Possess and maintain a valid 404 for crew cab and warehouse forklift;
    g. Operate warehouse forklift as required;
    h. Operate equipment and vehicles associated with the above listed crses;
    i. Administrative duties associated with above listed crses, and
    j. Any other duties as directed by CoC.

    Secondary Duties: As directed by CoC and including but not limited to CAAWC Duty NCO duties.

  9. Remarks: Cover letter, resume, SCPS verification screen and current Guardian MPRR are to be attached with the nomination. Suitable applicants residing within the geographical area will be given preference. Applicant's med cat, physical fitness and security clearance must be current and at the required level for REO. If an applicant has MELs and is still employable within limitations, a copy of the AR/MEL must be fwd to CTC HQ G1 Reserve Admin Cell. Applicants must have the essential quals as outlined in REO. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in REO. Applicants with a Secret clearance in progress as of the closing date of the REO may be considered, if no suitable applicant with the appropriate clearance applies. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in REO. The selected reservist will not be posted to the CADTC PRL for Cl B Svc under one year in duration, but will remain with their home unit.
