  4. Basic description of duties: AS CIS PROJECT DIRECTOR:

    PROFICIENT IN WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS AND STAFF DUTIES;

    KNOWLEDGEABLE OF ELICITATION REQUIREMENTS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT; AND

    ABLE TO LEAD AND OPERATE IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    A. LEADING THE IDENTIFICATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATED JOINT C4 AND ISR CONCEPTS, STRATEGIES REQUIREMENTS AND ACTION PLANS TO DELIVER JOINT CAPABILITY;

    B. COORDINATING PROJECT DIRECTOR ACTIVITIES ON BEHALF OF THE SPONSOR/PROJECT LEADER;

    C. DRAFTING AND PROMULGATING STATUS REPORTS, PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS;

    D. PREPARATION OF BRIEFINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO SENIOR STAFF;

    E. STUDYING AND LIAISING WITH ACADEMIC RESEARCH, INDUSTRY AND CF EXERCISES REGARDING JOINT C2 AND ISR;

    F. ENSURING THE WELL-BEING OF SUBORDINATES; AND

    G. RECOMMENDING INPUT TO THE DC4ISR BUSINESS PLAN.
