  1. 42 Fd Regt has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 00376-01-FSA, or 90000-ATR to commence on 04-JUN-2018 until 03-JUN-2021. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  4. Basic description of duties: A. The Finance NCO is responsible for the provision of financial services (resource allocation, expenditure forecasts, budget monitoring, funding adjustments, finance policy advice and provision of related advice to Regt responsibility centres), and RPSR supervisory to 42 Field Artillery Regiment;

    B. Interpret NDHQ, LFCA and 33 CBG financial policies as set out in the Financial Administration Manual, Manual of Internal Audit, NPF Policy and Procedures Manual, DAODs, QR&O, CFAO, DRMIS UU04, UU05, UU06, UU19, UU38, UU39, UU53 and RPSR Directives;

    C. Analyze and monitor expenditure forecasts for the Regt, recommend budget changes, and provide bi-monthly variance reports and budgetary advice;

    D. Maintain automated and manual budget allotment and expenditure records for CO, Regt 2IC and Ops O;

    E. Perform all RPSR functions including data input;

    F. Liaise with support bases and 33 CBG to ensure high level of fin support is provided;

    G. Examine and certify claims and pay for payment under Section 32 and 34 for 42 Field Artillery Regiment personnel;

    H. Enter resource budget information for HQ and sub-units into DRMIS/FMAS;

    I. Monitor all RPSR and Claims-X activity within 42 Field Artillery Regiment;

    J. Ensure delegations of authority forms are completed for key personnel within the Regt and that pers have the necessary up-to-date qualifications associated with these authorities;

    K. Ensure any subordinates you may have are trained to perform the tasks outlined in their terms of reference, receive trade and leadership training required for career progression, and are encouraged to seek other professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and training;

    L. Assume the duties of the CC 42 Field Artillery Regiment in his/her absence;

    M. In the spirit of team work, assist other unit OR staff when priority is determined by the Regt'l 21C or Adjt and
