  1. DGAEPM has a Class A for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00185-01-AERE to commence on 26-FEB-2018 until 28-FEB-2019. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

    1. Rank: Capt/Capt
      Maj willing to relinquish may apply but will only be considered should no candidate at the Capt rank apply and be found suitable.
    2. MOS ID: 00185-01-AERE
      MOS ID could be too: 00183 PILOT, 00184 AEC or 00182 ACSO.
    3. Language: English or French
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

      • Courses:
        • 1. AERE OFFICER BASIC COURSE [100246]
          2. AERE OFFICER ORIENTATION CRSE [100244]
      • Competency (Qualifications):
        • 1. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING [ADQH]
      • Competency Remarks:
        • Preferred that applicant has previously had a Maintenance Manager Course on any of the RCAF fleets.
      • Unit Qualifications Remarks:
        • Required training to be provided by unit.

  4. Basic description of duties: AERE officer supporting the development, delivery and continuous improvement of airworthiness related training courses IAW the Canadian Forces Individual Training and Education System (CFITES).
