  1. JAG PRL has a Class B Temporary for a Maj/Maj MOS ID/Occupation 00204-01-LEGAL to commence on 01-APR-2018 until 26-SEP-2018. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.

    7. Required experience and quals:
      • Competency Remarks:
        • Qualified Military Legal Officer in Good Standing. Experience as prosecutor or defence counsel at Court Martial or significant experience in criminal law acting as prosecutor or defence counsel in civilian justice system.

  4. Basic description of duties: Provide legal advice to the Esquimalt CFNIS detachment during the course of their investigations as required. Provide pre-charge advice to Esquimalt CFNIS Detachment. Conduct post-charge of files assigned by the DDMP and act as counsel at courts martial and associated hearings. Act as the representative of the Canadian Forces at Custody Review Hearing. Traveling will be required depending of the location of the court martial and associated hearings.
