  1. RCSU Eastern has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00232-13-CIC to commence on 01-MAR-2018 until 31-MAR-2020. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Cadet Org and Trg Service.

  4. Basic description of duties: ADVISE AND SUPPORT CADET CORPS AND SQUADRONS' COMMANDING OFFICERS AND TRAINING OFFICERS TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY TRAINING SESSIONS.

    ORIENTATE AND SUPPORT SUCCESSIONS PLANNING FOR NOMINATIONS OF CADET CORPS AND SQUADRONS' COMMANDING OFFICERS AND TRAINING OFFICERS.

    COORDINATE SUPPORT FOR ON-THE-JOB TRAINING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF CADET CORPS AND SQUADRONS, AND FILL IN VACANT POSITIONS AS REQUIRED.

    PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING PLANS FOR THE CADET CORPS AND SQUADRONS.

    DEFEND THE CADET CORPS AND SQUADRONS' INTEREST TO PROVIDE HUMAN, FINANCIAL AND MATERIAL RESOURCES NECESSARY FOR THE ADMINISTRATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAMS.

    PARTICIPATE IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FORECASES OF THE COATS AND PROMOTE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WIHIN THE CADET CORPS AND SQUADRONS UNDER THEIR RESPONSIBILITY.

    SUPPORT TRAINING ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE RDA AND NDA.

    ASSIST IN CONFLICT RESOLUTION.

    MAINTAIN A STRONG PARTNERSHIP WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF LOCAL LEAGUES, AND PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITIES OF RELATED GOVERNANCE BODIES, AS DESCRIBED IN THE TASKS DESCRIPTION.

    ENSURE LIAISON WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS.

    REPRESENT THE RESPONSIBLE OFFICER, AS REQUIRED, DURING AWARENESS ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE ASSIGNED AREA.

    CONDUCT THE SENIOR STAFF SUPPORT VISITS TO ASSESS THE CORPS AND SQUADRONS, AND SUPPRT, AS REQUIRED, THE COMMANDING OFFICER AND THE LEAGUE IN DEVELOPING ACTION PLANS.

    SUGGEST AND JUSTIFY NOMINATIONS FOR BENEFITING MEMBERS OF CORPS AND SQUADRONS SO THEY OBTAIN REWARDS AND RECOGNITION.

    RECOMMEND CADETS OR COATS MEMBERS FOR TRAINING POSSIBILITIES.

    RECOMMEND ADMINISTRATIVE OR DISCIPLINARY MEASURES, AS REQUIRED.

This position has been identified as bilingual because the J3 Z Trg O will have, most of the time, to communicate and work in French in his interventions with the RCSU Eastern HQ and some cadet corps and squadrons, while at other times the work and communications will have to be done completely in English to answer English speaking Corps and Squadrons.
