  1. 4 H SVCS GP HQ DET TORONTO has a Class B Temporary for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00192-01-HCA to commence on 13-NOV-2017 until 30-JUL-2018. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Capt/Capt
      CLt/Slt eligible for promotion and Maj/Lcdr willing to relinquish their rank for the duration of the contract may apply, however they will only be considered if no suitable Capt/Lt(N) is found. IAW QR&O 11.12 para 4. A Res F mbr who relinquishes their rank and reverts to a lower rank for the duration of the Class B employment, may be authorized (provided there are no substantive reasons to the contrary) to be promoted to the rank held prior to the relinquishment at the conclusion of the Class "B" service, provided they meet all requirements for promotion. Lt/Slt not eligible for promotion may also apply but will only be considered if no promotable Lt/Slt , substantive Capt/Lt(N), or Maj/Lcdr willing to relinquish their rank is found suitable.
    2. MOS ID: 00192-01-HCA
      Other MOSIDs with appropriate experience may apply, but will only be considered if no suitable 00192 HCA is found.

  4. Basic description of duties: The selected candidate will work at the Toronto 4th Health Services Unit HQ Detachment, as a J5 Health Services Plan 2. He / she will team up with the 4th Division of Canada HQ staff to ensure proper planning of health services for his units. He / she must attend planning meetings / conference calls, draft operational instructions, review documents, advise HQ members on best operational practices related to the medical field. He / she will also be responsible for the direct supervision of staff as well as any other tasks related to the management of civilian and military personnel.
