  4. Basic description of duties: BASIC DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:



    A. PROVIDE SUPPORT TO INJURED AND ILL MEMBERS POSTED OR ATTACHED TO THE JPSU

    B. LIAISE WITH CF PROVIDERS OF SUPPORT TO INJURED/ILL MBRS, SUCH AS CF CASE MANAGERS, MED STAFF, BASE SUPPORT STAFF, SISIP, ETC AND VAC DISTRICT OFFICE STAFF

    C. MAINTAIN REGULAR CONTACT WITH INJURED AND ILL MEMBERS POSTED TO THE JPSU

    D. INVESTIGATE ADMINISTRATIVE OR DISCIPLINARY SITUATIONS AS REQUIRED

    E. ENSURE THE MAINTENANCE OF PROPER DRESS AND DEPORTMENT FOR MEMBERS OF THE JPSU

    F. MONITOR UNIT MORALE, MAINTAIN SITUATIONAL AWARENESS OF NCM ISSUES, AND PROVIDE ADVICE TO JPSU PL COMD ON UNIT EFFECTIVENESS

    G. ENSURE THAT REGIONAL SERGEANT MAJOR IS APPRISED OF ALL SIGNIFICANT ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE WELFARE OF NCMS POSTED TO THE JPSU

    H. ENSURE THAT DEPART WITH DIGNITY CEREMONIES ARE ORGANIZED FOR ALL RETIRING JPSU STAFF

    I. COORDINATE AND SUPERVISE CEREMONIAL EVENTS

    J. MONITOR OPERATIONAL READINESS OF ALL MILITARY MEMBERS OF JPSU AND COORDINATE TRAINING AS REQUIRED

    K. REFER INJURED OR ILL MEMBERS TO MEETINGS AND NON-MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS RELATING TO ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES, COMPENSATION OR BENEFITS, TRANSITION PREPARATION, ETC AND FOLLOW UP TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE AND UNDERSTANDING

    L. PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING TO INJURED AND ILL MEMBERS AS REQUIRED

    M. DRAFT CORRESPONDENCE AND COMPLETE REPORTS AS REQUIRED
