  1. CFSSAR has a Class A for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00328-01-LOG to commence on 26-JUN-2017 until 25-JUN-2037. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.

    • A. Presiding Officer course (AIEC); B. Log-HR specialty (AIHL); C. Expenditure Management Section 32, 33, 34; D. Contracting Direct with Trade; and E. Green Procurement.
  4. Basic description of duties: A. Supervise CFSSAR Orderly Room Chief Clerk and ensure OR functions are properly executed; B. Coordinate and manage CFSSAR civilian human resources activities with managers and the 16 Wg and 19 Wg CHROs; C. Coordinate and manage CFSSAR EC submissions and processing; D. Provide routing staffing and guidance for CFSSAR section heads and staff on personnel administrative measures, particularly, but not exclusively, those related to remedial measures, counseling, redress of grievance, harassment and summary investigations; E. Draft, amend and update Unit Standing Orders; F. Supervise financial management activities as a unit resource center administrator; and G. Other duties as assigned by the Commandant CFSSAR.

Candidate selection will be based on the following order: (1) Air Reservists, Air DEU P Res & Air DEU Reg F pers at the substantive rank of the position; Air Reservists & Air DEU P Res pers one rank below the rank of the position, who are eligible for immediate promotion; (2) Reg F pers, other P Res pers, members of the Cadet Organizations Administration and Training Service (COATS), Canadian Rangers (CR) and Supplementary Reserve (Supp Res) at the substantive rank of the position, willing to transfer to the Air Reserve and change environmental affiliation if selected; (3) P Res or Reg F pers over-ranked by one rank, willing to permanently relinquish their rank, shall only be considered in those exceptional cases where no qualified category (1) or (2) candidate is available; and (4) Civilian applicants, including former CAF members. B. Selection through the Air Reserve employment selection process does not constitute approval for promotion. Promotions must be requested and approved by the appropriate authority; C.
