  1. CJOC HQ has a Class B Temporary for a Maj/Maj MOS ID/Occupation 90024-GSO to commence on 10-JUL-2017 until 09-JUL-2018. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  4. Basic description of duties: A. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    (1) INFORMATION OPERATIONS COORDINATION CELL (IOCC) PSYOPS SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

    (2) DEVELOP, PLAN AND PRODUCE DOCUMENTATION AND ASSOCIATED PRESENTATIONS IN SUPPORT OF PLANNING, EXECUTING AND REPORTING ON INFORMATION OPERATIONS (INFO OPS) FOR DEPLOYED OPERATIONS

    (3) COORDINATING DAILY WITH DEPLOYED OPERATIONS ON PSYOPS MATTERS.

    (4) PROVIDING PSYOPS REACH BACK LINK TO DEPLOYED OPERATIONS

    (5) MONITORING ASSIGNED MISSIONS (SITREPS, INTELLIGENCE REPORTS, SCAME, ETC)

    (6) COLLABORATING IN OPERATIONAL-LEVEL PLANNING WITH APPLICABLE STAKEHOLDERS

    (7) COLLABORATING WITH STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL LEVEL PLANNING STAFFS WITHIN DND/CAF, OGD AND WITH NATO AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS

    (8) COLLABORATING IN CJOC RESPONSE TO AN INFO OPS CRISIS IN THEATRE.

    (9) PROVIDING ASSESSMENTS/RECOMMENDATIONS WITH RESPECT TO PSYOPS ACTIVITIES OF DEPLOYED OPERATIONS

    (10) PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS DIRECTED



    B. IN ADDITION, THEY WILL ASSIST CJOC STAFF WITH PLANNING ACTIVITIES AS NEEDED TO PROVIDE THEM WITH SITUATIONAL AWARENESS AS OPERATIONS ARE DEVELOPED. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    (1) COLLABORATING IN THE PREPARATION OF MISSION RELATED BRIEFING NOTES AND PRESENTATIONS

    (2) COLLABORATING IN THE PREPARATION OF WARNING ORDERS, PLANNING GUIDANCE, OPERATIONS ORDER (OPORD), OPORD ANNEXES, AND RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (ROE)

    (3) COLLABORATING IN THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF INFO OPS RESPONSE OPTIONS AND CONTINGENCY PLANS
