  1. CA Int Regt has a Class B Permanent for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 02-DEC-2019 until 01-DEC-2022. Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

        • 1. Must be USQ & PLQ qualified;
          2. Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite, as well as a good knowledge of the PRes environment; and
          3. Have a working knowledge of DATE and TIOC.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    • A. Have a knowledge of the Int environment, Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) and Threat Tactics Crse; and
      B. Experience in scenario development, collective training exercises, and driver's license (DND404) are assets.
  4. Basic description of duties: A. Maintain a degree of situational awareness regarding CAF operations;
    B. Assist in establishing and maintaining links with the RHQ, CASC to effectively ensure the standardization and delivery of the Threat Tactics (TT) course;
    C. Stay current with DATE literature and periodicals (TCs, Worldwide Equipment Guide, and Red Diamond), and BPT to speak as a Subject Matter Expert on the DATE Opposing Force Tactics model;
    D. Assist the SPEC DEV O in leading the production of DATE and TT Courseware including Distributed Learning (DL) packages;
    E. Support with managing Threat Tactics to meet the requirements of Canadian Army courses and exercises;
    F. Assist in the creation and delivery of custom Threat Tactics packages for named exercises as required;
    G. Assist in the creation and delivery of "ready-made" Threat Tactics packages for exercises;
    H. Provide input to exercise scenario development;
    I. Assist in the creation and management of appropriate databases as required;
    J. Be prepared to travel to instruct on individual training courses;
    K. Be prepared to travel nationally in support of domestic training exercises;
    L. IAW the MOU between the US Army and Canadian Army and CADTC will contribute to the development of DATE publications. To this end, Scenario Development Support will assist the SPEC DEV O in contributing to OPFOR Tactics development on an ongoing basis;
    M. Assist with the maintenance and deliverance of "Train the Trainer" courses to support institutionalization of the DATE Threat Tactics model;
    N. BPT assist in the translation of TC 7-100.2 Opposing Force Tactics into Canadian French via Translation Bureau; and
    O. Perform other duties as assigned by the OIC Trg Spt Tp.
