2. REQUIREMENT TO COMPLETE BEFORE START OF AOC 22 COURSE.   Those students loaded onto AOC 22 are to have completed all preliminary studies or AJOSQ AND be ATOC qualified NLT 1200 hrs, 27 Aug 2010. Those students unable to meet this timing will be removed from the course.

Students are reminded that to staff an equivalency takes time and that they should staff any requests for equivalency to CLFCSC in a timely manner. CLFCSC will not entertain requests for equivalency received later than 1200 hrs, 27 Aug 2010. It is the student's responsibility to track their requests for equivalency through their unit and to CLFCSC. Equivalency requests should be staffed to the CLFCSC Stds O, CSN 271-2189. Students who have received an equivalency from DAT for AJOSQ should also check with the CLFCSC DL Sp Coord, CSN 271-2188, to ensure that all their AOC prerequisites have been met.

In keeping with CF Policy, Army Transformation and the way ahead, the Land Force Doctrine and Training System (LFDTS) is implementing changes to the Army Officers Developmental Period Two (DP 2) Training Model. The new DP 2 Training Model will come into effect for the Primary Reserves on 1 September 2006 and the Regular Forces on 1 January 2007. This new model incorporates the Army Junior Officer Qualification (AJOSQ), the Army Tactical Course (ATOC), and the Army Operations Course (AOC).    For further information follow the link provided:    Additional Information >>

1.  Officers commencing AJOSQ are to register on the CLFCSC Online Learning Centre (this page) and follow applicable studies.

2.  Credit for required OPMEs.  In order to be given credit for completion of OPMEs (Leadership and Ethics, Military Law, Defence Management) required for the AJOSQ, students are to send (mail or Fax) to the CLFCSC Attn: DL Sp Coord a record of completion (copy of their MPRR). This is the only method presently available to get the OPME credits for the AJOSQ.   CLFCSC Fax number 613 540-8308.

3. AJOSQ - Equivalencies.   Equivalency requirements for each of the AJOSQ subjects can be located within the CLFCSC On Line Learning Centre (OLC) under the subject module introduction paragraph.

1.   Air Force Officers selected to attend the AOC must complete AJOSQ PO 204 (Conduct Unit Training) and EdO 203 (Army Organizations) prior to commencing the AOC DL phase. In addition, for PO 204 Air Force officers only have to complete the on-line training theory exam and they do not have to complete the second part which is the creation of a sub-unit training plan.
